Caroline is a seasoned professional with 20 years of multi-sectoral experience in Governance, Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Financial Management. She began her career at PwC as an Auditor and rose to Senior Manager at KPMG East Africa. In 2013, she founded FirstIdea Consulting Limited, specializing in Governance and Risk advisory. Caroline serves as a Non-Executive Board Member and Chair of the Risk and Compliance Committee at Faulu Bank and holds key positions at the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) East Africa Chapter and Trocaire International. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, an International Post-Graduate Diploma and Certificate in ERM from IRM UK, a Master’s Degree in Financial Management, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K). Her extensive expertise has guided numerous organizations in enhancing risk management practices and achieving sustainable growth.
