Driver

Tanzania

My ideal world is huge swathes that are wet and green, signifying life in abundance. I grew up in the Lake Zone in northern Tanzania which has a bi-modal rainfall pattern. We would effortlessly plant indigenous tree species to conserve our environment within the village, and along Ngono River and Swamp which was our source of fish.

As a Driver who also supports in logistics, I provide navigational services with dedication to both individuals and teams. In my role, I ensure that all staff get quality service that enables them to undertake their duties while going the extra mile to engage with local communities and other stakeholders in our endeavours.

My past work experiences have seen me serve in high commissions and embassies and international organisations, namely USA Embassy, CIDA, USDA, ICAP and World Vision. By joining Wetlands International, I am back home as the mission to conserve and restore wetlands remains close at heart.

When I am not on duty, I love relaxing with my family and engaging in social activities for my community. I like watching movies and football especially when my favourite local team, Simba FC, and the international team Arsenal are on their battle fields.
